We count ourselves so lucky to get continued support from local businesses and people in our community – and this last month has seen some really generous donations that have made life at St Anne’s that bit sweeter.
As we gear up to reopen our doors to clients for lunch on May 17th, we had a mega donation of food – including plenty of fruit, snacks, crisps and drinks – from Asda (thank you Anton!).
We’re also incredibly grateful to the Co-op Local Community Fund for a substantial grant which has allowed us to replace the broken dishwasher in the kitchen with a sparkling new one, kindly installed by our longtime friend Francis Jaquet in time for reopening.
Thanks also go to lovely Richard and Esteban at Presuming Ed’s on the London Road who have helped us out with a donation of food containers for our takeaway service, and to Pocket Angel who continue to support St Anne’s with regular deliveries of food and clothing.
Finally, a big shout out to Ricci of White Rabbit Consultancy who ran 5K May for us earlier this month, making a fantastic £150 in the process. We’ll be using those funds to make the reopening of St Anne’s even more special.
