St Anne’s gets regular support and donations from Pocket Angels, a local not-for-profit organisation that raises money for homeless, rough-sleeping and disadvantaged clients by allowing people to donate digitally via their app. It’s a brilliant idea in a world which has become increasingly cashless society – find out more about Pocket Angels here.

Alicia and Andy from Pocket Angels visited the Centre recently to see how we do things – and brought with them another delivery of food, clothes, toiletries – and socks, which are so much appreciated by our clients.

We are always so grateful to our supporters and donors – from all the wonderful volunteers who do so much to keep things going at St Anne’s, to the individuals and businesses who help us with regular donations. Co Op, Asda, Morrison’s, Superdrug and others are a constant source of useful items – including the lovely flowers given to us each week by Louise at Morrison’s. We have a rose or carnation on every table now that our doors are open to clients for a sit-down lunch.

Anyone who follows us on Instagram will have seen Kitchen Manager Emiliano’s amazing chocolate creations that we’ve been serving for dessert. The gooey, fudgy brownies have been going down a storm – they come courtesy of our friends at the family-run Raise Bakery in Worthing. Thank you!
