Volunteer commitment
Each volunteer commits to a minimum of one four-hour morning session a week and a maximum of two sessions. In return we train volunteers, and they gain valuable experience working with homeless and vulnerable clients.
Benefits of volunteering
Our kitchen is run to commercial standards and volunteers are trained in good practice, standing them in good stead if they want to work in catering.
We are also prepared to provide references for volunteers once they have been with us for three months.
Get involved
We’d like to hear from people over eighteen who are interested in volunteering. You’re welcome to come to the Centre on any weekday morning to see Shelley, our Centre Manager, and have a chat about volunteering, or email us.
