"I’ve been volunteering with helping rough sleepers in Brighton for nearly 30 years, and am still a member of the Brighton Kemptown Soup Run organising committee. When the Soup Run came to St Anne’s to use their hall, I joined their committee and was asked to become a Trustee in 2011."
"Hi, I'm Treasurer for St Anne’s. Volunteering gives me a sense of purpose, a feeling of fulfilment and the satisfaction of giving back to the community, especially the ones in need in sharing my skills and knowledge. I’m truly honoured to be a part of the wonderful team."
“I started volunteering at St Anne’s two years ago, helping out in the kitchen. For me, food is not just about nutrition – it’s about comfort and joy. Sharing that with our clients is a wonderful thing. I became a trustee in 2020 and I still volunteer in the kitchen once a week.”
